Manvers First Floor
Facilities Development

We need your help

We are writing to you as a valued club member to ask for your support. Manvers Waterfront Boat Club recently launched a new fundraising campaign to complete the first floor of the New Boat Store. Working with Manvers Lake Trust, a Registered Charity, whose mission is to encourage active recreation at Manvers Lake, we are very excited to involve the Club and the local community in our latest fundraising efforts.

We have a fantastic opportunity to develop the facilities at the Boathouse. As you may have seen we have already made great progress in completing the additional ground floor boat store area and have begun work on developing the upper level with fire and security upgrades, escape stairs, floor screed and underfloor heating. We are actively searching for funding available to help us create an amazing social space for members, with an accessible viewing platform (which will also function as a ground floor weather shelter). Incorporated in the design will be a food preparation area and licensed bar plus a disabled accessible lift. At both first floor and ground floor levels there will be additional toilets. We also aim to incorporate more training rooms and space for a Club Shop.

To complete the Boathouse and meet our fundraising goal, it will truly take a huge effort from members and the community. Are you able to support this incredible cause? Any amount you can contribute will make a difference - even £1.

Please remember, we are a registered charity (no -1150159) and as such your donation is tax effective if you are a UK taxpayer and donate via “Gift Aid”.

Thank you for taking the time to read about this incredible development and please support us if you can. If you would like to learn more, have any ideas, or would like to get involved with our fundraising efforts please get in touch.

We propose to give regular updates to members so you can see the progress we are making to achieve our goal.
