Manvers Lake, surrounding parkland and the Boathouse are all owned by the Manvers Trust, a limited liability not for profit registered charitable trust. We are leading a community-driven initiative to develop a newly installed first floor of our Boathouse and are excited to announce our fundraising campaign. To bring this project to life, we are seeking donations from individuals, families, and local businesses.
By making a contribution, you will not only help us create a lasting legacy for future generations but will also have your name displayed on our recognition wall, showcasing your support for the project to the entire community.

We will display your name on our virtual donor wall and print your name on our dedicated donor name wall should you choose that option. Please note a maximum of 30 characters is allowed for each persons name.
The parkland and Manvers Waterfront Boat Club provide our community with a vibrant outdoor recreational space that promotes health, well-being, and community engagement. It is estimated that the lake attracts tens of thousands of visitors per year, with 100,000 taking part in some form of active sports with up to a further 400,000 simply walking, jogging, often with their dog or simply enjoying the lake and its surrounding parkland. The club features many activities, including paddlesports, open water swimming/lifesaving and angling to name a few, allowing residents of all ages to experience the thrill of water-based and sporting activities on their own doorstep.
Donations are greatly appreciated, and we have established different contribution tiers to accommodate all levels of support. Whether you are an individual, a family, or a business, your contribution will make a significant impact on the success of this project.

Where and When
We will aim to have the first physical donor boards displayed in summer. Initially these will be located in the downstairs foyer off the patio area. As the project completes they will be relocated to the new entrance. These will be displayed for a minimum of 5 years.
The virtual wall will be updated on a weekly basis, displaying all of the names of our supporters.
